alison, brian, baby girl & kota.

this family is incredibly special to us.

and they’re expecting a new baby girl in january.

we couldn’t be happier for them and we *kinda* can’t wait to meet her.

robbie and i have a handful of friends that have come into our lives recently, yet, somehow it feels like they’ve been there since the beginning…alison (and brian) are those kinds of friends for us. we’ve already been able to capture some pretty wonderful moments in their lives and we can’t wait for more.

oh, and they’re crazy about their dog kota, just like us, so we’re always in good company. ๐Ÿ™‚

alison, brian, baby girl and kota, we love you guys with our whole hearts.

*the images below aren’t really a “typical” maternity session…it’s a family, hanging out at home, on a sunday, doing the things they do. but then again, those are the best kinds of sessions, aren’t they?

๐Ÿ™‚ enjoy!

amanda & jesse. the wedding.

hi.

what could be better than a wonderful backyard wedding, in the fall, with great details, great friends and LOVE?!

amanda & jesse (who happen to be great friends of ours!) were married in the backyard of the house amanda grew up in and danced under the autumn stars. there were tons of special details (which were done by her sister, mom and countless friends). they wrote their own vows and were married by a dear family member. they were truly surrounded by so much love; it was truly an honor to be there to document every moment of it. ๐Ÿ™‚

lots of love and happiness now and forever! congrats again amanda & jesse!

YAY! ๐Ÿ™‚

they found a really great old covered bridge for their portraits…the color from the trees was amazing! fall in the mid-west is pretty magical.

and another awesome handmade detail.

Alison- MOH - Wow! Robbie and Lauren, you’ve done it again! These images are as perfect as the day itself. I’m so grateful our worlds collided and that both Amanda and I had the ultimate photog duo shoot our weddings.

Ladies and gentlemen, let these images stand as a testament to the reason you should ONLY hire professional, experienced photographers to capture one of the most memorable days of your life.

Lori Patterson - From a fellow photog; I cried when Jesse and Amanda invited me over to share the photos. What an amazing job at capturing the entire day and also the love that I am honored to witness every day.

Thank you both so very much and I look forward to seeing all of your creative work of the two people I consider the epitome of love in true form. What beautiful memories!

the callahan family.

one of the best parts of our job is seeing how families grow.

this is one of those families.

๐Ÿ™‚

it’s been so fun seeing kirstin grow and watch her personality take shape…she’s the best of both her parents and oh so cute.

can’t wait to meet her brother who’ll be making his debut in january.

Laura Carbin - Hi Lauren and Robbie,
The pics here from last year were awesome and we can’t wait to see the pics from this year.
We feel so blessed that Dani and Tim found you two to record their lives with photography one year at a time. From their engagement pictures including Elsie, to the happiest day of their lives, their wedding, to the birth of Kirstin and now the newest addition of Ronan! Can’t think of a better to look back and tell the story!
Hugs to you both,
Laura Carbin
