kath & jeff. the wedding.

kath & jeff met in hawaii, live in florida and got married at a covered bridge in indiana. we had the absolute honor of documenting their day, along with their family & friends. jeff’s daugther was there as well (she’s amazing.)

it was such a lovely day.

thank you so much again for letting us be there to celebrate with you guys…we wish you tons of love and happiness always…oh, and lots of boxer dog kisses.

*i should tell you guys that in all reality it was homer that booked this wedding for us! you see, in our bio, there is a picture of homer, and when kath (who is an avid lover of boxer dogs) saw him she contacted us right away and said “i love boxers as much as you guys do, and you must photograph our wedding!” so, we thank you mr. homer chappelle, extra treats for you!

senior sessions with oFp.

**ATTENTION indianapolis area high school students!!**

openField photography. is looking for some stylish, fun, outgoing, charismatic high school seniors to photograph this fall and next spring! we know how important this BIG milestone is and we want to make sure you have some BIG images to go along with it! anyone can go to a “typical” old-school, boring portrait studio to have the same images your parents had…live a little…go to the WILD SIDE and have some knock-your-socks-off, super cool, always unique and FUN images taken by robbie and i!! besides, the mid-west is know for having some pretty kick-butt colors in the fall too, and we know you girls out there are just dying to show-off all of the cute “fall” clothes you just bought. 🙂 and guys, we get that “sweating” isn’t cool and no one likes feeling like they are walking on the sun, so fall/early spring is basically the greatest time of the year to do this in!

brandi & matt. the wedding.

you guys might remember brandi & matt from their fun engagement session earlier this spring…well, they’re married now! 🙂 they had an incredible rooftop ceremony overlooking the circle in downtown indianapolis on a marvelous sunny day. we had tons of time, since they did a first look, to get lots of images of not only just the two of them, but their rockin’ bridal party as well!

brandi & matt…thanks so much for allowing us to document  your big day…we had a blast! we wish you guys tons of love and happiness…and we hope these images make you smile for  years & years to come!!

bruuuuuuuuce.

To borrow a quote from the movie Saving Silverman, “He’s America’s greatest songwriter; and he’s our hero.”

The thrill of thrills is getting the opportunity to photograph something that’s truly special on a personal level. For me, it doesn’t get any more epic than shooting a Bruce Springsteen concert…it just doesn’t.
His new album, Wrecking Ball, launched a tour a little earlier this year. When I say “launched” I mean blasted across the world with some the greatest live performances of a generation. It’s the type of event that you’ll tell your children about. Bruce and the E-Street Band play shows in upwards of 4 hours these days, so it’s hard to capture that kind of energy and magic in a few brief minutes. But here goes…
